From its origins as a local trading firm in Singapore, ABCOM has grown into a global industry leader through strategic agility and an uncompromising commitment to quality assurance.

Just The Start

ABCOM was opened in Singapore as a trading company, taking its first steps in the wide world of global recycling.

2000

Expansion into Scrap Recycling

Our first physical yard at Henderson Industrial Estate, Singapore, to capitalize on an increased value-added business.

2007

Major Turning Point

Post 2008 financial crisis, the company grew drastically in operation size to establish itself as a key regional player through the acquisition of NatFerrous.

2008

ABCOM Leadership

ABCOM becomes a leader in stainless steel and aluminum recycling while becoming the first company in Asia to set up Aircraft Engine dismantling and recycling.

2009

Joint Venture with Cronimet Germany

In July of 2013 ABCOM moved into a new joint venture with Cronimet to push their global scale under the banner of Cronimet ABCOM.

2013

Return to Independence

ABCOM separates from Cronimet to re-activate as a powerful independent player at their new physical processing facility in Singapore.

2015

A Big Step

ABCOM goes international with a new facility in Istanbul, Turkey, to become a reliable partner for regional products and tackle ever-changing shipbreaking industries.

What's Next?

With COVID behind us, we focus to grow our supplier and customer base as we strengthen our procurement of alloys from the aerospace, defence, energy and manufacturing industries.
